The About Page could be made more helpful to UNIFY

Matthew Clark 14 years ago updated by anonymous 9 years ago 5

The following improvements could be made to the About Page:

  • The subject for support and licensing are merely "Support" and "Licensing" at this stage. It would be more helpful if these were updated to have some sort of Event Broker reference, eg. "Event Broker v3.0.0 Support"
  • The Support section could provide a link to the Event Broker project page, rather than just the support email. Most requests we have could be addressed by the JIRA project or Confluence documentation.

Retrieval of LDAP X509 Certificate from Windows certificate store

Tony Sheehy 14 years ago updated by anonymous 9 years ago 3

A fairly simple improvement that might become expected functionality on release - is to facilitate the retrieval of LDAP X509 Certificates from the local windows certificate store. As far as an implementation of this is concerned, the System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates.X509Store would support this method of retrieval.

When deleting multiple operation lists, a warning should display if selected operation lists are not empty

Matthew Clark 14 years ago updated by anonymous 9 years ago 2

It would be useful to warn the user when deleting operation lists if the selected list(s) are not empty. An area where this could be useful is with large configurations when setting up the structure of the solution using either auto configuration wizards for multiple FIM instances, or numerous manually-added lists. This would prove useful in preventing users in wiping out configurations they may have meant to keep when cleaning up the solution.

Congratulations to the Product Group

Absolutely stunning. What more can I say? Words can't describe how brilliant a job you guys have done with EvB 3.0. Intuitive, visually appealing, thoughtful design, easy problem diagnosis ... for a first major release, 3.0 is the best piece of all-round UNIFY IAM software to date I've ever had the privelege to install and configure. I am sure that by the time you've done the same "make over" to Identity Broker (from a UI perspective) that will surpass even this ...

Hats off to the lot of you!!!!

Can't wait for RTM.

Operation list last execution status improvement

Tony Sheehy 14 years ago updated by anonymous 9 years ago 5

There is currently no way to tell (purely from the page itself) which operation list is being described by the operation list last execution status page. This could be remedied by simply including a field of the operation list name / link back to the operation list.

Group alignment

Tony Sheehy 14 years ago updated by anonymous 9 years ago 4

A determination needs to be made about whether (for the purposes of consistency) the details of individual groups in the groups tab should be formatted by a table.

Event Broker Uninstallation does not remove product

Matthew Clark 14 years ago updated by anonymous 9 years ago 7

Attempting to uninstall the proposed RC of Event Broker "succeeds", but does not remove the application. The web directory, Cassini assembly, and even the service executables remain.

Clicking the delete button with the Middle-mouse sends through a null operation list guid

Tony Sheehy 14 years ago updated by anonymous 9 years ago 4

Clicking the middle-mouse to delete an operation list will bypass the confirmation dialog, send through a null operation list id and force a null reference exception.
