The Microsoft Active Directory agent is an agent that encapsulates all the connection details to a single Active Directory instance.

A Microsoft Active Directory agent maintains the following configuration:

Name	Description
Server	The server and port of the Active Directory instance.
Authentication Type	The authentication type to use when connecting to Active Directory.
Username	The username of the account to be used for authentication.
Password	The password of the account to be used for authentication.
Domain	The domain of the account to be used for authentication.
Timeout	The timeout limit to be used when connecting to Active Directory.
