Organisations: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I am exporting Organisations to Sharepoint. As can be seen in the image below, the IdMParentProfileReference is being updated to include the full DN.
the following error is being thrown:
System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[System.ServiceModel.ExceptionDetail]: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. (Fault Detail is equal to An ExceptionDetail, likely created by IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults=true, whose value is:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

at S...).
The IdMProfileReference is a reference between objects, so is set by the DN of the Parent Object.
Do I need to configure the IdMProfileReference to the full DN, or should the adapter be converting?
Answer
It shouldn't matter what the DN is for export as it just takes the first component. I'll look into the error shortly.
I've added additional logging, please try again Unify.Connectors.SharePoint.SharePoint2010WCFService.wsp

Yes, it should have said Object null: _name of object_
How did you install the updated service? I think you have to do a different command than for the install, e.g.:
Update-SPSolution –Identity Unify.Connectors.SharePoint.SharePoint2010WCFService.wsp –LiteralPath "C:\Unify.Connectors.SharePoint.SharePoint2010WCFService.wsp" –GacDeployment
This seems better:
System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[System.ServiceModel.ExceptionDetail]: Object null: propertyCollection (Fault Detail is equal to An ExceptionDetail, likely created by IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults=true, whose value is:
System.Exception: Object null: propertyCollection

I have been informed that the WSP has been installed. The error below is being returned in MIM.

I asked the client to restart the service in case something was cached, but this had no effect.
