Error adding search terms to entity search

When attempting to add a search term in IE8, I get the error "DataTables warning: JSON data from server could not be parsed. This is caused by a JSON formatting error."

I also cannot remove the search term.

The max depth is now correctly updated in the service App.config, and has been tested/confirmed in the latest installation of prdgrp-test3.
