Disabling Connector Job Execution does not stop import

Matthew Woolnough 12 years ago updated by anonymous 9 years ago 3

If you disable a connector, the job keeps running & there appears to be no way to stop it running except for restarting the IdB service.

The enable/disable option is there (currently) to disable future execution of their respective processes. In the future, it may be worth looking at the potential for explicitly stopping an operation like you can in FIM. This behaviour isn't currently supported however, and will be analysed for work required / benefit in v4.1.

Thanks.

Another option would be a new method (or maybe the same one) that takes a token letting it know to stop, in a similar way to .NET parallel classes.
