Text Audit Writer

Overview

The text audit writer can be write audit entries to a text file.

Each line of the audit file will contain the JSON formatted details of a single audit entry.

Considerations

A backup or archive process is recommended to ensure that the audit files do not consume too much disk space.

Configuration

The text audit writer requires the following by way of configuration:

Attribute Description
Name The display name of the audit writer which is used for identification throughout UNIFYBroker.
Directory The directory into which logs will be written. This refers to a physical location on the service-host.
File-prefix The prefix to be written to the front of each log file.
File-extension The extension to be written to the end of each log file.
Logs Per File The maximum number of log entries per file.
