Deleting an adapter clears the partition table

Deleting an Adapter clears the Partition table, which subsequently deletes all entities with cascading deletes.

Why would this be happening? Isn't this to do with the work you did on speeding this process up?

Confirmed locally and can be closed on the next incoming push.

This has been confirmed on prdgrp-test3 and additionally in the recent set of regressions.
