EB exclusion for DB bcakups

Bob - I am excluding FIM MA exports in the EB exclusions as discussed so that writes to the FIM Service DB do not cause WS errors as observed. Should I also exclude FIM Sync Import/Sync from other sources as they would write to the FIM Sync DB ..

Agreed - all sync activity should be excluded during backups ... although most SQL backup regimes support the idea of "warm backups" meaning that application activity won't necessarily break during this time (there may just be timeouts). Play it safe and exclude all check operations.
