The Microsoft Active Directory agent is an agent that encapsulates all the connection details to a single Active Directory instance.

Configuration

A Microsoft Active Directory agent maintains the following configuration:

ServerThe server and port of the Active Directory instance.
Authentication TypeThe authentication type to use when connecting to Active Directory.
UsernameThe username of the account to be used for authentication.
PasswordThe password of the account to be used for authentication.
DomainThe domain of the account to be used for authentication.
TimeoutThe timeout limit to be used when connecting to Active Directory.
